Too many of us do not pause and reflect as we should (I know I’m guilty of this!). There are so many immediate and long term benefits of reflecting, that we need to make it a vital aspect of our daily routine. Maxwell addresses this and charges us to focus in on how it can directly impact our growth.

Personal Awareness Questions

Sometimes we just don’t know the right questions to ask ourselves. Again, the author gives us some direction here. The more we can become aware of ourselves, the better our odds at improving in all aspects of our lives.

How to Grow Consistency

Can anyone else relate to setting a goal and not getting there due to burnout? This powerful chapter discuss the need for discipline and how it can go hand in hand with motivation. Both motivation and discipline are intertwined and when done correctly, it can change the course of our success.

Ch 6: The Law of Environment

Choices Affect Changes

Many of us have been in a position where we cannot change the situation. We feel stuck and like our potential isn’t being realized. There is a way to combat these feelings. Control what you can control. It sounds a lot easier than it is, so we encourage practicing and finding a great groups of peers to keep you strong. **If it is a dangerous situation, seek immediate help. Contact your local church, police department, or a trusted friend.
