Team Culture
Jill’s passion is building teams and developing leaders. The great thing is, that can be done in any situation (she just specializes in basketball). Developing a positive team culture is vital to the short term and long term success of not only the program or company, but of the people who are involved.
The value of being able to thrive on a team will directly affect success levels for all parties involved. Find a great coach and great teammates. Your coach serves as your mentor and your teammates are those in your inner circle.
“Iron sharpens iron,
Proverbs 27:17
So one man sharpens another.”
It is evident through scripture and life experience that we thrive in community. We’ve got to surround ourselves with the right people who will build us up and speak life into us.

How to Do Challenging Things
Throughout seasons of life, we all have to make tough decisions. It can be challenging to know if we’re taking the right steps or if we need to pivot. Remember, God isn’t trying to trick us. He is a good God who loves us and wants to give us good gifts.
“Delight yourself in the Lord;
Psalm 37:4
And He will give you the desires of your heart.”
Think about the giftings God has given you. Use your strengths within all facets of life. If you’re great at building teams, that can work for being a coach, bonding with your family, or thriving in the workplace.
If you’re battling an inner critic who is spouting off limiting beliefs, focus on getting just 1% better every day. Think about your input (what are you listening to, watching, reading, taking in?). Continually find ways to improve. Remember that success leaves clues.
