5s (The Investigator): Body, Food, & Relationships

Body & Food: 5s have a utilitarian view of the world (if they don’t need it, they don’t have it). There is not a lot of excess. It’s hard to connect to their body, and for 5s, it feels scary to feel the need/desire of something. PRO TIP: Remind yourself that your body is more than a vehicle, and you can connect and have a relationship with your body.

Relationship Tips: 5s like alone time; it’s a necessity. If they venture out to a gathering, be prepared for them to need to take breaks (play with the dog outside, go find a quiet room, etc…). PRO TIP: Before going to a social gathering, plan breaks and set time limits for each break.

6s (The Loyalist): Body, Food, & Relationships

Body & Food: 6s are prone to anxiety, and can easily seek outside themselves for how they should “feel”. 6s typically don’t have the natural intuition that many other numbers are able to tap into. PRO TIP: Combat that out-of-touch-with-self feeling by actively paying attention to how your body feels in various situations.

Relationship Tips: 6s typically have right/wrong ways to do things to keep themselves safe (sometimes it may not make sense to others). 6s value security of things and people and can often future trip on worst-case scenarios. PRO TIP: Do NOT invalidate their fears, they are feeling them for a reason. You don’t have to believe that fear for yourself, but do your best to understand and empathize.

7s (The Enthusiast): Body, Food, & Relationships

Body & Food: 7s have a hard time knowing when their bodies are satisfied (well rested, full, other physical sensations). 7s like to experience many things and have a buffet style way of thinking. PRO TIP: Learn the physical sensations of what things feel like when you’re satisfied (what’s it like to be full, well rested, at peace, etc).

Relationship Tips: 7s need freedom. Period. They struggle with being put in a box with limitation. PRO TIP: Help the 7 blossom by letting them create a flexible (and responsible) schedule. Let them be responsible by having the freedom to choose the process.
